Matthew Gray Gubler is super skinny. And he has a really long neck. Evidence:
But he somehow manages to be very, very hot in a mega nerd kind of way. Other people think he's hot too, because he used to be a model before he was an actor.
He went to film school at Tisch or some other kind of thing like that. I guess he made a movie called The Cactus That Looked Like a Man. It could also have been called The Man That Looked Like a Cactus. I don't know, I can't remember everything. Anyways, now he is an actor on my number one jam, Criminal Minds. He plays a nerd/FBI agent whose mom is that gay dog groomer from Best in Show. Coincidentally (because Best in Show is a mockumentary and stuff) he made a mockumentary about himself:
There is a whole series of those ones which you probably should watch. And then there is this thing:
The final reason that I love him so much is that he is also an artist. As you can probably tell, he is the inspiration behind creature features. If I could make art like his art, I would be really really proud of it. Look:
He has a website full of all his great paintings. It is called Gublerland. Go there.
Here is a picture of him in his regular life, being a regular guy:
I've been thinking about getting more tattoos a lot recently, but I haven't been able to figure out exactly what I want. I won't get anything until I find something that I really like, enough that I want to look at it for the rest of my life. I've been looking for inspiration on fuckyeahtattoos and I've seen loads of really great things.
Some ones:
This one reminded me of Hattie.
If I get something big, it will probably be on my ribs. The idea that sounds best to me right now (inspired by the above, obv.) is an as yet undetermined number (one?) (maybe two to make it symmetrical?) of arrows. They might be on my wrists, but since I already have my fleur de lys there... I was thinking maybe straight down from my elbows towards my wrists (on the back or the front?) Maybe on the backs of my arms pointing towards my elbows? The whole thing about arrows is that my mom was Michigan state champeen in women's archery and her father owned an archery shop in Detroit.
In a miraculous turn of luck, my Art History final was not due today, which is great because I haven't done it yet. The only good things I can possibly think of right now are that I finally own pants that fit me, my members only jacket makes me look like a badass, Taloo is super cute, and there is no way I won't get an A in printmaking. Other than that, my life is a giant pit of three papers due Thursday, a presentation on Tuesday, a 20 page paper and a final next Thursday, plus a whole printmaking project (photo plates, type setting, printing, paper cutting and finally binding), make up assignments, and three finals in the next two weeks. I'm going to throw up all over my life and die of a coffee overdose. Also I have a giant headache.
