What Goes Up Must Come Down

Drinking is a great idea. That is unless I am thinking at all about my future or my past. If I think into the past I realize that nothing ever came of drinking other than mystery bruises, wretched hangovers, and embarrassing make out sessions with people whose faces and names I must strive to piece together the following morning. This trend is destined to repeat itself in the future. (Remembering whether or not they had a cold sore is always of great concern...) But if I'm thinking only about the present, drinking is a great idea. The liquor goes down, and my mood goes up. But then of course I wake up and the liquor comes up and my mood goes down. Up until this point in winter break I have solved this problem by drinking more and postponing the inevitable crash. I've kept going up and up and up. But now I'm coming down and the side effect of my roller coaster ride is that my wallet is (i think) in a lake house that Annika has been house sitting for, my 2 new sweaters are at Rachel's and she has left town, my watch is god knows where and my happiness is trapped inside a Seagrams Gin bottle. I have no idea how I'm going to round all these things up...

I miss Danielle and I took for granted how awesome it is that while she's in town, she's always hanging out with me. Now that she's gone, I'm stuck in Danny's house with nothing to do and I have to resort to grumbling about how every single plan I seem to make falls through, and stealing my mother's beers with the hope that she won't notice. I've been playing way too much Peggle, but in a short lived burst of productiveness and creativity I made a couple doodles which I will show you here! Hope you like them!

I felt chauvinistic at the time... (Click it! It gets bigger)

I was doing a Dominic Monaghan face in my mirror and got a little nostalgic about it. And then I imagined what his family might look like if they all had funny chins like him. So I drew a picture!

  2. Thanks buddy! It is my fist! How did you know! It was the most easily accessible fist to look at and draw. I'm not cool enough to draw realistic things without a reference.
