Don't Go In the Basement

I first encountered Sally Cruikshank because she animated sesame street videos which I liked to bop to as a child.
I found a video of hers the other day with a flying alligator lady in a pink jumpsuit which led me to all the other amazing things she has done.
A lot of her cartoons have two characters called Anita and Quasi which wikipedia describes as "highly stylized anthropomorphic ducks" which is just the sweetest description ever and reminds me of teenage mutant ninja turtles and I wish they had their own tv show.
anway she has a website and a blog called fun on mars with all kinds of gems on it but these are some things I liked.
