Holy shit where was I when Marlon Brando was this smoking hot? Oh, that's right, I wasn't even born. Pity.

I know, I know, the last two are all I ever talk about. But come on, can you really blame me?
I've been obsessed with this show for the past few days, or however long it took me to watch all of it. It has Christopher Egan and Sebastian Stan in it, who are both super hot and who I love. You should watch it. High drama, made up countries, biblical narratives, men in uniform. Yeah.
Sebastian Stan looks best when he's upset or being mean.
I don't usually go for blondes, but damn Christopher Egan is fine.
Ugh. I feel like Rachel in her boy crazy Stacy mode except not about people I actually know but totally unattainable celebrities.

I love them so much! especially the roundest floofiest drummer one. do you think I could somehow maneuver myself into being their den mother? I could lay out all their beard combs for them and bake them casseroles and wash their sweaters.

I am also trying to do homework and have been trying to distract myself with cleaning and eating and internet-ing. I even went so far as to collect and chronologically arrange all my credit card receipts from the past two months.
Ladies, it's just that gripping.
During my cleaning frenzy, I listened to Mew, which is a band I mostly forgot all about but was actually introduced to me by Rachel via her crazed cousin. And then I got all into it and tried to think of the times I listened to them before and what season it was and blah blah blah and I wanted to post some of their videos (because a few of them are kind of cool) but they've disabled embedding from youtube, so I can't. What a bitch-ass move, disabling embedding. Do they not want the free publicity that is blogging? Stupid foreigners.
So instead, I'll post this one:
I'd never seen it before, but I like it.
And now I'm gonna do a separate post full of inspiration!

a foggy day
I have to write a huge paper tonight and I am (of course) spending the majority of my time making special playlists to listen to while I'm writing. I just downloaded Judy Garland's live at carnagie hall concert and Rufus Wainwrights tribute where he replicated the entire thing 30 years later. So I lined it up so I'm gonna listen to each judy song followed by the rufus version all the way through! TRA LA LA so productive it will be great!

do you guys remember making stuff with beeswax? I feel like I remember people giving me little tabs of it in different colors and we would smoosh it and mold it and make little people with it. IT SMELLED SO GOOD!
