Caleb is also here, and that's been pretty excellent. He has a tendency to take his older (better?) (cooler?) friends for granted in the face of new (college) friends, but its mostly been awesome to have him here.
All three of us went on a camping expedition to Mississippi a few weekends ago. My friend's family has some property there on a lake, so we slept in a tent and got drunk and caught some fish.
Nicole has been coming over every day, which I love. I'm so glad she's happy and healthy and not living with her crazy family in Mililani. This year away from school will be good for her, I think. I hope it will be.
We've been playing mad Texas Holdem for goods and services with Nicole and her boyfriend, Matt. It's surprising that we play so often and yet everybody still has all the shit they don't want and were trying to bet away.
On Monday, Hattie's last day, we got stoned and took a bunch of really excellent pictures before watching Planet Earth and drooling all over our feet about how the world is incredible.
Nicole had some filter samples, and we covered the flash on my camera so it worked like a Lomo ColorSplash.
Kelly will be coming down the day Caleb leaves, which is a bummer since they won't get to see each other at all. I'm excited for her to see the apartment and also to buy some more furniture. I ran out of money and the only things we have are a table with no chairs, a couch, three empty bookshelves, a coffee table and one stool. It's kind of sad.
